My name is Mrs. Wright. I have been married to
my husband, Phil for forty-five years. We have three children, 7 grandchildren,
and 4 great-grandchildren. Our favorite vacation spot is Topsail Island in
North Carolina. We vacation as a family every summer.
In my spare time, I sing with the Indianapolis
Symphonic Choir. Music is my passion ; it feeds my soul. I have sung many
beautiful pieces of music as a part of the ISC. One of my favorite…Chichester
Psalms by Leonard Bernstein. In October of 2017, the ISC performed at Carnegie
Hall. It was a once in a lifetime performance!
I love teaching science! I love all branches of
science, and how they are interconnected. Dissections are my absolute favorite
activity in science instruction. It is fascinating to view the internal organs
of a species and see how they compare anatomically.
I am a graduate of Butler University. I received my Bachelor of Science in 1987 and my Masters of Instructional Technology in 2004. In the future, (after many years at The Lab School!) I would like to become a professor of education at Butler University.
